Starting within rural areas of Makanya Kilimanjaro region and later will continue this project all over Tanzania and Africa in general. We will draw dramatically from the strength of our diversity, resources and experience; we promote innovative solutions and are advocates for our responsibility. We facilitate lasting change by: Strengthening capacity for HIV/AIDS awareness. Reducing stigma attached to HIV/AIDS Providing economic opportunity. Providing an opportunity for sports and recreation Poverty Elimination. Empowering local culture. Basic education supports. Agriculture and Water supports in rural areas. Medical support. Women’s Projects. Construction/Community developments. Family planning Population: 41.1 million Population living below poverty line: 36 Life expectancy: 52 years GDP per capita: 1,300 HIV prevalence: 6 Literacy rate: 72 Population in formal labor force: 52. OUR VISION We seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and people live with dignity and security. At Pamoja Afrika we are a humanitarian force and a partner of choice within Tanzanian movement of ending poverty and fighting agains HIV/AIDS.
